Licensed and Insured = Peace of Mind
Nothing is more important than credentials. To be a Master Plumber is years of on the job training, difficult all day tests that are way out in Lansing at eight am, background checks by the state, boring code update classes on a regular basis and last but not least is very expensive. It would so much easier to not go thru this, a lot of so called "plumbers" have no license at all. To me, Master Plumber means the best and that's what I'm striving to create here at WaterWork. Insurance? Pretty self explanatory "stuff happens". Again very expensive to renew every year but its for yours (and mine) peace of mind. Also did you know that to own a plumbing company you have to be a licensed plumbing contractor? Yet another way for the state of Michigan to earn income but it basically means that WaterWork is recognized by the state. So from the moment I answer your call or email you can be assured that your dealing with a professional.Experience
If you're having plumbing, sewer or drain problems you want them resolved.... quickly. You want someone who is good and fast. WaterWork can help! I have serviced systems as old as 1900 to today's era of plastic. I have resolved small leaks to "Oh my God, call the plumber right now", to the problem that no one can figure out. Working throughout Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties has educated me to a diverse array of plumbing systems. Just like my licenses, my tools will show you my expertise. For starters I arrive with a fully stocked van. This means that I probably have the part to fix anything in your home or business without having to run to the store and waste time. My hand tools are well organized and top of the line. 17 years of experience, I've worked all over metro Detroit, houses, restaurants, factories, offices, apartments, stores, schools so I've seen and had my hands in alot of different situations. WaterWork can resolve your issue for sure.Sewers and Drains
Every plumbing company calls themselves expert sewer and drain cleaners. WaterWork is even better than that. I open sewers that the experts cannot. So many times I've been somewhere where another company said the sewer needed to be dug up because it couldn't be opened, what a great feeling to save my customer a bunch of money. My sewer and drain cleaning equipment is quite impressive in fact the equipment that I arrive to your home with is better and more diversified than almost any drain technician you'll ever meet. This allows me to do a more thorough job than most companies. Plus I have lots of tarps to cover the area around which I'm working. Some drain lines however are damaged and need more expensive repairs. Rest assured knowing that you don't have to take a strangers word that the work is needed. My sewer camera can show on a TV monitor exactly what is going on, this allows you to see first hand what is needed to remedy your situation. With my Master Plumber license I have the necessary credentials to pull any permits that your local municipality may require. Make sure you call me for a second opinion. Put my expertise to work for you, WaterWork cleans, clears, and maintains your sewer and drains better than anyone.Certified Backflow Testing
The safety of our communities drinking water is paramount. This section pertains to devices installed to keep drinking water safe. Most homeowners never deal with this issue unless the residence has a sprinkler or fire suppression system, certain boilers too. The water from these systems must be kept separate from the potable or drinking water. To do this a pressure vacuum breaker (pvb) or a reduced pressure principle backflow preventer (rpz) is installed where the two systems connect. These devices do not allow potentially contaminated liquids from siphoning back. Generally on homes the devices must be tested every 3 to 5 years. Commercial buildings have several different types of backflow preventers for different applications, some of them must be tested yearly depending on the hazard level. WaterWork is a state certified backflow tester. The test includes hooking a yearly calibrated gage to the unit and running some tests to make sure it works. If the test fails, the cross connection preventer must be repaired or replaced. Then a series of paperwork must be sent to the authorities to show that all is safe and operational. WaterWork can handle these jobs from beginning to end for you.Basement Waterproofing
Wet, moldy, smells? If this describes your basement or crawl space call WaterWork today. We do small jobs like sealing rod holes, digging and sealing cracks in cinder block or poured concrete walls. Some homes require entire exterior walls to be excavated and sealed. Another way to waterproof a basement is open the floor about one foot wide all around the perimeter. We then dig down enough to add gravel and perforated pipe that pitches to a pit with a sump pump to be discharged away from the house. Obviously there is alot more to it than I can describe in just a paragraph so give me a call for more help. WaterWork offers a lifetime transferable warranty for most jobs. Check out the diy tips pages for more help with basement leaks.Hot Water Heaters
Hot water tanks always seem to fail at the wrong time. No one likes a cold shower or gallons of water leaking all over the floor. Because they often break down at such an inconvenient time WaterWork keeps heaters in the warehouse for your convenience. Rest assured that the situation will soon be remedied. Make sure you check out my tips page for what you should do when a hot water heater leaks. With the need to conserve energy did you know that much more efficient heaters are available? That's right, tankless hot water heaters are the way of the future. If you think about it, having a 40 or more gallon tank of water stored that is constantly kept at a certain temperature whether your using it or not uses alot of energy compared to a tankless which only fires up when you turn your hot water on. Plus you'll never run out of hot water. Whatever your water heating needs; call WaterWork for an estimate.
